This breakout session will take place Saturday (1PM) in Room 2504.
Josey Ross has spent the better part of a decade working in the anti-violence field, from program management and curriculum development to case management, advocacy, and education. Having studied the intersections of trauma, physical, and mental health in grad school, Josey believes that dismantling rape culture, patriarchy, racism, and other forms of oppression is not only a justice issue but a health issue. She is especially interested in building sustainable activism and communities of care to do this vital work. As a queer cisgender white woman Josey aims to work from a place that understands her positionality and uses her sites of privilege in solidarity with others.
